 Notes The flanged shell holds replaceable pleated filter elements, suitable for installation in the
suction line of refrigeration systems. In this way solid contaminants left in the system at
start up can be removed before they circulate back to the compressor and cause damage.

*Filter shells can be fitted with drier type cores if required. When fitting the filter shell
with drier cores a 100 mesh strainer (part - 481272) must be installed at the outlet end
of the internal filter assembly.

*Filter shells can be installed in either flow direction. However drier type cores may not
be used if the filter is installed with the suction vapour flowing in the opposite direction
than shown on the filter.
